Armrest compartment (e92) storage space dimensions?

I was going to wait until the M3 arrives in 2-months to get a small external hard drive for the iPod/USB option but now that my pc is acting up, I need one asap to back up all the files before getting a new pc. Anyway, can someone provide me with the dimensions (LxWxH in inches if possible) of the inside of the armrest compartment (where the USB connection is located)? I need this info to make sure whatever external hard drive I buy online fits, thx! And yes, I know it can't spin faster than 4200 rpm's.

Main area at rear is roughly 6 1/2"W x 6"L x 2"D. The right half is actually 9"L x 3"D.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have a full size pic of this compartment which I'm assuming is the main area:

Thx!
