spoiler lip
I'm ordering a new M3 and would appreciate your thoughts on leaving the spoiler lip on the car, or ordering the car without it. For those of you who thought about this as a yea of nay situation, what were your thoughts and conclusions in making your choice? Has anybody ordered one without the spoiler? BMW says the spoiler "improves its aerodynamic efficiency." I don't know how to evaluate that outside the race track. A salesman told me that about 30% of his customers order the car without a spoiler lip.

Dude ... leave it on then if you don't like it sell it. Can probably get a good amount for a real M spoiler. I don't think they drill holes. You'll just need to clean up some sticky stuff.

You mean the boot (rear spoiler). If you donīt like it, you can easily take it off, you are unlikely to ever feel any difference unless you are going well above 200 kph.
