expensive light wheel VS expensive Ti exhaust

hi all, i have a silly question that i wanna ask,

exhaust, wheels are fine and bigger ones would ruin the car!

go for the exhaust. In my opinion Ti is not worth it. I would get a non Ti exhaust, and put the dough you save towards the wheels when you are ready.

What wheels are you considering?

What's the average gains from an exhaust?

Getting rid of unsprung weight does have measurable performance gains.

if you after track or track like-performance then wheels, wheels, wheels. Is a "Ti" exhaust really all ti or just the tips, just for looks then right, since the weight is nearly equal to an all stainless system.

if it's for looks and noise, then best to consult your hair stylist.

Exhaust...you'll see better gains with it and set the platform for further mods.

Other than less weight it really depends on the car. I stated in another thread that with my car (wrx) when I changed out the exhaust and went from a 2" pipe with three cats to a 3" mandrel bend, no cats, and a freer flowing muffler I gained about 20whp.

With this new v8 it will be good to see how mod-friendly it is. Only time and dyno pulls will tell!

I vote for a nice set of light weight wheels. Titanium tends to crack over time.
