BTW your posts have been a great help and I highly appreciate your efforts!
Thats why I prefer to use the correct terminology. "Spun-Forged" rim halves are sometimes bare aluminum that is flow-formed and has never been forged. People assume that since they have been flow-formed that they are "Forged".

HRE P40's are avail for the M3 in April/May I believe but the cost is something like $4k a set! Costly...am considering the MORR wheels which are less than 1/2 that for the same wheel however I do agree I'd be somewhat concerned about failure and testing/approval. Anyone have info on the two?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone from HRE is watching this

(1) Is the finish on the E60 a charcoal or black effect?

(2) Could we see these rims on an AW E92 M3?

Have been thinking of C20's but the large arches of the E92 are making me think the dished wheels will look too small. Was therefore thinking of these but can't decide what finish to go for.

Would appreciate some pics or if any pchop experts out there wanted to do some magic then cool.

email from HRE:

"We have 19" and 20"

Sizing is 9's and 10.5's.

Pricing is $5,620 and $6,000.

I could have the 20's for you early May.

19's were still waiting on forging, no delivery ETA on those yet."

Our wheels are VIA/JWL approved. There is no reason for concerns regarding safety. A good amount of members of E90Post run our VS7 wheels and as of today none have reported any failure. We build wheels using 8000 TON forgings while HRE uses APP sourced blanks that use only 4000 TON.
