Rear Bumper WATERSPOTS not comming out... could they be in the paint

I waxed the entire car for the first time last night.. finding out every imperfection along the way and i always have noticed waterspots on the flat deck of the rear bumper.. it didnt come off in a previous wash, yet i just figured not to scrub hard having a black car, and i would wax it out later..

LONG STORY GOES...
i tried mothers cleaner wax.... nothing
zymol wax (great stuff)... NOTHING
and even tried a lik 3m rubbing compound on one water drop.. and Nothing!!

the water spots seem to me like they are beneath the clearcoat?? or in the paint... they are MORE than obvious.. i should get a pic on here..

does anyone have any advice on how to take care of this?????

Have them buffed out. Either by a professional or buy your own polisher like the Porter Cable 7424, or the Griots Garage Orbital. VERY easy to use, and you REALLY have to be stupid to burn the paint.

A clay treatment might also work. Meguiars or Griots...

The spots come from minerals in hard water.

Very doubtful they are under the clear coat, but I guess not impossible. Try a polishing compound (wax is not polish). I like Malm's Polish and Glaze (http://shop.malms.com/Qstore/Qstore....J01070637111J1) by hand or Griot's Machine Polish 3 (http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/11163.do) with orbital.

try using a water spot remover for boats such as Ducky. I think it mostly vinager but it does remove spots on boats and cars. good stuff.
