cancelled order-since M3 has $h!tty gearbox and racing instructors are not impressed.

I think I will cancel my order a get a 335i or maybe a lexus IS300. or maybe just a Durango since they get better gas mileage.

You have finally seen the light! I recommend an ES350 for you -- the IS may be a bit too much car for you to handle. RWD is kinda scary

After about 500 miles my gas mileage is now up to about 13.5 mpg. Not bad.

Accord V6 my friend!

Cheap to buy, great resale, 0-60 in 5.x seconds, takes REGULAR unleaded, gets nearly 30mpg, super reliable, perfect shifter, voice-activated nav with bluetooth, all for less than 30 grand..... what more can I say?

The Accord V6 manual is the PERFECT car.

For all the M3 owners that are sick of the 335i owners saying a modded 335i can keep up with or even beat a M3.


The quicker more agile 135i was just tested by Motor Trend.

Reno-Fernley Raceway, lap distance 2.74 miles.

Motor Trend lap times:

135i - 163.93 sec

M3 sedan - 154.2 sec

Diff. of 9.73 seconds, I believe it would be a bigger gap with a stock 335i.



So to all the 335i fanboys thinking adding $10,000 worth of aftermarket parts to a 335i will make a car as fast as M3.

Think again.


The performance gap in lap times, is HUGE.



I like to see how much cash it would take to make up 10 plus seconds.
