Can't wait to hear it! The gruppe-m on my 325 is loud as hell. I can only imagine what it'll sound like on the M. About the oil on K&N filters, I've never heard of that happening. I've driven my car in 115 degree heat at ~60% humidity and the oil held strong. Granted, K&N tends to over-oil them from the factory, but you can bleed some off before you use it.

Don't really understand why the inake would make the car louder? Is this louder in the sense of intake air sound? Is it really worth it?

Mate haven't you revved out the car near a solid object, like in a tunnel or next to a truck?

You know that scream you hear? Thats induction noise.

As for if its worth it? Im not sure...The induction noise on this car is VERY VERY good. I can see the exhaust needing improvement though.

The factory intake looks pretty well thought out, with 3 separate intake tracts and a great big filter. I wonder how much, if anything, is to be gained except for maybe CF bling.

Nice pic!!! It looks like a complicated system, no wonder it is expensive!! I question the same, maybe 4 hp gain!!!! Maybe!!!

Any aftermarket company that builds products that work SHOULD do this. It's proof of concept. If they shy away from it then maybe there's a reason.

That's because I think the power gain is probably minimal!! Maybe 4 hp!!! But together with the exhaust and ECU, it may gain as much as 50 hp!
