not helpfull i know, but i got mine at MSRP. then again i placed a deposit 2 years ago for the list.
i am sure if you see a dealer with some cars sitting on the lot, they might give you below msrp. east bay bmw has a JB/Black Novillo that still has not sold - but i thinks its the only one left. most people are ordering their cars, which means the dealers are not really budging from msrp cause they know people want them |

If you agreed to buy the car at MSRP then it's kinda a dick move to "work him over" after ordered.

I think it's perfectly ok to continue negotiations up to the actual close of the transaction; especially since the market today, even last week, is much different from when many may have placed our orders.

this mkt is definitely softening. I have a colleague who just put in a deposit for the new GT-R for $8k over whereas not long ago, they were asking $20k. Even the F430 market is softening, but more likely due to added supply as the Scud will be released in several weeks.

I'm sure you can get some amount off of MSRP. Usually there are crazy markups on cars but from what I've seen at Stevens Creek, there isnt any on the M3. This means that the market for it is week for the seller. So you should be able to negotiate for below MSRP. G'luck and let us know how it turn out.

Is this a demo (Showroom car) or an allocation? and you still haven't respond to other thread question. Which dealers that offered you $500, $1000 and $1500 off on MSRP? If it real, please share.

Just to clear up any confusion, these price listed above from (gotgas) are for E90 M3 Sedan not E92 M3 Coupe. I called and confirmed, and two dealers offered me their demo.
