Does anyone know any good tint shops in Indiana or Illinois area? I cant find a good place to get tinting done. I am worried about the dot matrix pattern on the rear glass. I called Formula one and they said it is not possible to avoid the bubbles near the dot matrix.

I would not recommend where I went, definetly got a shitty tint job around the dot matrix, and now he wont fix it..fuck him

however, there is a place called midco in Chicago off of 63rd or sumthing. I have heard many good things, i think thats where i will take my car for a new tint job. Let you know how it goes.

Shaded Days in Lake Bluff does great work. I've had many cars done by them in the past and the attention to detail has always been impressive. I just didn't get my M3 done because I think I'm over the tinting thing. Sorry, I don't have the contact info in hand right now. I'm sure you can google it.

So have any of you been pulled over for your tints? I know I caved in and put a front tag on because I started to get pulled over without one....

I got one ticket($75) and one warning ticket($25) so far....

It seems like city area is very strict about it...

I have used MidAmerica glass in schaumburg. They have done a good job on all the cars. I just got a quote on our new sedan and it was $280 for the whole car.

I had mine done today by Midamerica Glass tinting in the previous post. They are located in Schaumburg and do an amazing job with good film. I asked him about pricing and here is what he said.

2-door M3 $200
4-door M3 $280

Another local shop wanted $325 for the car and doesn't do anywhere near the work this guy does.
