2009 BMW E90 M3 - 6Speed - Akrapovic, Stoptech Trophy, JRZ RS ONE
SALE IS BACK ON!!! see message #32 HIGH LEVEL SUMMARY 2009 BMW M3, Space Gray, Fox Red, 6 Speed, Akrapovic Evo, Stoptech Trophy BBK, JRZ RSONE coilover 69,XXX miles, DETAILS Hello, I have a new F80 M3 on the way and it is with a bit of sadness that I need to find a new home for my beloved E90 M3. The E90 M3 has been my pride and joy since I bought it new. It is in excellent condition and drives/handles superbly. Oh it sounds soooo good with the Akrapovic Evolution exhaust. All the mods are high quality and track-oriented with an eye for daily driving. I have taken extremely good care of the car over the years. I have followed Mike Miller's Old School Maintenance Schedule (BMWCCA) fairly religiously (i.e. oil changes every 5-6K miles, diff & trans fluids every 30K miles, coolant flush every 2 years, spark plugs every 50K miles, etc.). All services have been performed by BMW Seattle. All aftermarket work was done by reputable performance shops in Seattle: Namely Group2 Motorsports, Cantrell Motorsports and Prova Motorsports. Car is hand washed regularly and leather is cleaned/treated every few weeks using Griot’s Garage leather care products. Paint and leather are in great condition. Car as-built specs: - MY 2009 BMW M3 (E90) - 68,XXX miles - Space Gray Metallic exterior - Fox Red leather interior - 6 speed manual - Brushed Aluminum trim - Premium Package - Electronic Damping Control suspension (bypassed by Macht Schnell EDC Emulation Module) - Moonroof - Manual rear shades and power rear sunshade - Heated front seats - Fold down rear seats - iPod and USB Adapter - Smartphone integration Modifications: - Akrapovic Evolution titanium exhaust. It truly sounds incredible - Akrapovic Delete-R (simulates CO2 sensor) - Stoptech Trophy BBK ST40 all around with Stoptech SS brake lines - JRZ RSONE single adjustable coilovers and camber plates. Brand new dampers were replaced in June 2016 (less than 1K miles on them) - Macht Schnell EDC Emulation Module - Cantrell Motorsport brake cooling setup with brand new ducting - Turner Motorsport front endlinks - Turner Motorsport 75mm studs - Turner Motorsport 10mm and 12mm spacers - Remote folding mirrors coded I also still have all the stock parts that were removed (exhaust, brakes, suspension with EDC sensors). These will included with the car if so desired. Recent non-regular maintenance work includes: - Thermostat and water pump replaced as preventive maintenance (6 months ago) - Oil pan replace in May because dealership stripped drain plug Note: Car was involved in a low speed incident in January 2015 which resulted in replacement of front bumper, driver headlight and front fender. All work performed by BMW Seattle and their approved body shop. Car should be available for pickup on August 1st or whenever new car arrives. Thanks, Nicolas Ps: I also have a winter setup (D-Force wheels with 255 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D) that could be included for cheap if interested. Overview images: Videos Walkaround: Unlock, lock, all windows up and fold mirrors: Rev counter while driving: Drive by and rev: Power rear shade:

Beautiful car. I would say fair price as well. Too bad its not a few grand cheaper this is pretty much what I'm looking for(minus all the mods), otherwise I'd fly out to see it tomorrow.

Thanks much for the positive comments. Much appreciated.
I do really feel it would be a shame to part the car out. I have spent a lot of time, effort and money to get the car to its current state: It handles, brakes and sounds much better than in stock form, yet is a great daily driver. I truly love this car and I do feel a pinch to have to let it go. - The JRZ RSONE coilovers is the third suspension setup that I have tried and by far the best. It has 24 clicks of adjustability which provide a wide range of compliance. In its most compliant settings, the car is firm yet comfortable for daily driving use. In its most aggressive settings, it is a race car! Adjusting the damping is as simple as opening the hood and trunk and turning a knob a few clicks. Of course, you can also adjust the ride height. More info about the JRZ RS line here - The Stoptech Trophy kit is probably the best upgrade I have done. I actually inquired with Stoptech about porting it to the F80. Unfortunately, it is not possible. The breaking power and endurance are noticeably increased while the cost of the consumables is cheaper (Stoptech street pads are cheap and the replaceable rotor hat is cheaper than the BMW complete rotor/hat assembly) - The Akrapovic exhaust is… well we all know how incredible the V8 sounds with this exhaust. Aggressive yet without any drone. A dream. Plus the build quality is to die for. I am really going to miss that sound. I do feel that the car is pretty special in its current form. That’s why I would rather sell it on this forum as I feel it has a better chance of going to someone who will appreciate and enjoy it for many years. I am of course open to entertaining any fair offer. PM me and we can talk. Thanks

Here are some undercarriage goodness photos :-)
Thanks to Chris at Prova Motorsports - who knows my car well - for clearing out the alignment rack for a few minutes for me. Nice shot of the brake ducting And finally, here is a shot of the JRZ RS1 install a couple of years back. RS1 dampers were replaced with brand new RSONE dampers in June 2016. Had some creaking noise coming from the dampers. JRZ stood behind their products and allowed me to upgrade to RSONEs for a small $ amount. All work performed by Cantrell Motorsports

Obviously the products are top notch, but I can also vouch for the work that has gone into this car. Chris @prova is the best at suspension setups and Cantrell... well, I'm sure you've all seen the name. Not a dollar spared in prepping this car correctly...

All PMs replied. Thanks for the interest!
Also, in case you are doubting that this car is pretty special, it was the feature car on the poster of the 2011 BMWCCA Concours d'Elegance
