Operating nav/radio with engine off

Just curious... I was wondering how does the thing works with the "start engine" button. Can I operate the radio and idrive with the engine off? Is there any kind os "acc mode" as in the rest of the cars?

I sometimes use the radio while the car is off, so this info would be useful.

Thank you in advance for the answers.

There is a mode called "radio readiness" which you can activate by putting the fob in the ignition slot or (with comfort access) by just pushing the start button without depressing the clutch. Most of the electrics will work in this mode without the engine running.
