Cool Thanks for the info

I am starting to think again about the premium sound $1900 and the bass is not hitting "Them Bastards"

That crackhead at the dealership said the same thing. It was limited until the first service. I could care less WTF they ask me to do or how they engineer it, as long as it lasts. I just find it strange we are only now hearing about it. It seems if someone is taking it for a test drive, you would want to tell them what exactly it is limited to. Otherwise, it is a valid test of the car and a basis for decision making. E's crappy experience would seem to suggest an initial limit?

yeah but the biggest issue is that not a single one of these claims comes from a definitive source. i know that mechanics, techs, and sales reps or managers might say it, but i want to see it on paper from BMW. also, nothing like this is listed in the manual (as far as i know) and i've never seen it in a press release. so if it is in fact true, this would be very odd why its so ambiguous.

I'm more inclined to believe that higher end audio equipment cares more about treble precision and clarity. While bass is important in any audio system I think it's probably easier for a system to provide good bass than it is for a system to provide truly impressive mids and highs.

By the way, I wish the worst type of ill-shit for anyone thinking of dropping one of those trunk bass boxes into their M3.
