Now do you still think e46 looks better then E92?

like it says. you cannot honestly answer yes, cause I won't believe you. you have to look at the pics in the link before trying to lie.
you can't get a better comparison then this to compare the two.
don't get me wrong, I love the e46 M3, and I wish I would have gotten one instead of my 335 that I had. but I am definatly happy with my decision to get the e90 M3.

e92 looks better, but will it be design classic like e46 is another question?

BTW IMO interlagos blue suits the e46 way better

Before i saw the car in real life it would be a tough call, but since ive seen the E92 M3 in person, i would say the E46 looks dated and not better than the E92.

E46 IB looks darker than the E92. I think I like the darker IB better.

So everyone doesn't have to go to the other link. Good photo comparison, BTW.

lol its funny how all the fanboys of the E46 criticize the E92, just like how it was with the E36 when compared to the new E46. I bet it will be the same with the next M.

Though I love the looks of the e92 m3 and have one on order, it did'nt take my breath away when I first saw it to the same extent as the e46 m3 did.

I think they still both look amazing

The E92 just has a more present feel because its obviously a new car

from a different thread but you get the point on how much flack the E92 is getting from haters. This guy is probably the most narrow minded person ever.

Its actually funny that it makes me laugh. Dont hate because you paid 60K for a '06 and didnt have the patience to wait 2 years for a better car.

The E92, should be a lot tougher, wider guards etc.
I havent driven one, nor been in one, but i wouldnt buy one.

I'm keeping the E46 M3 because I still think it's a great car. Is it a better looking car than the E92? No way in hell. Just look at the rear end of both cars. The E46 has nothing going on in the back with no flares or detail whatsoever. The E92 on the other hand has an aggressive rear with elegance and style. I mean it's all a matter of taste, but as a lover of both cars, the E92 is far superior looks-wise.

My two M3s together:

when i first saw the e46 it just blew me away and i had to have one.. when I saw the e92 I thought it looked like a sleeker more modern version, that lost the pudgy feeling of the e46, and i dont like the interior

I think already owning an M3 e4 does have a different perspective then non owners.
I love both cars, but like I said the e46 is not New, I guess.

The e92 definitely looks more modern, and in this "newness" there is a lot of value.

I have to say though, the 6th pic down does give me some pause before anointing the e92 as "better looking". Maybe it's the angle of the camera to the front, but my eyes are really drawn (in a good way) to the e46. The next photo down is the same angle but with the e92 in the foreground, and the e92 doesn't have the same impact.

It looks newer, but the E92 will come and go, just like the E36.
The E46 will remain a classic.

In my opinion, BMW hit it's design peak with the E38, E39, & E46.

I had 2 E46 M3's I can honestly say like the E46 looks Better. I think $70K is RIDICULOUS. I payed $70K for my 2007 M5 with 5600 miles on it minus the wheels of course. The new M3 is a really nice car, just never knocked my socks off like the E46!

Could be happy with either of them with an edge towards the E92. At this point, I would want the technology the E92 offers.

E46 still. E92 doesn't have full LED rear lights.
