My M3 in New York

So I see a lot of you in the states are picking up your M3's this weekend. I'm number 1 on my list at Manhattan BMW in NYC and my salesman is telling me that it won't be in until the end of the month or the beginning of April. I'm starting to get a little skeptical about it seeing that some of you in New Jersey are already taking delivery. Anyone think that this is possible or that she's somehwere over there and there just stalling me?

Sounds like a large dealership they should already have one? Maybe there giving you the old Herky Jerky.

bmw manhattan already have their demos, but somehow my CA says early april will be the first batch for customers

Yea they do have demos on the floor. They have an IB coupe and a Black sedan. It just sucks that I have to wait another 3-4 weeks for delivery. Damn i!

At least they have demos. My dealer in Boston doesn't have their demo - apparently it's still at VDC. Maybe it was a victim of the tipping ship?

Have your CA give you your exact order status code. I assume you have a production number already?

Well I can track the car online in the Owners Circle and it currently says Awaiting Transport but my dealer told me that the website is a little lagging behind so hopefully it will be here soon.

Your sales guy can do a Vehicle Inquiry (only takes a couple minutes) on his DCS -- ask him to let you know when it ships and give you the vessel information. Shipping to your area only takes 10-12 days, plus maybe a week tops to get to your dealer.
