I can't watch it because I'm at work. Not to justify his behavior but I know a few soldiers who became f'd up in the head due to Iraq. What they see there is something no one should see, especially people so young.

We do protest against it. Infact we do much better than just protesting on the streets. Look on the internet alone and you will be able to find THOUSANDS of websites against terrorism, videos, audio lectures etc. That's not including the books, dvds, public lectures and events we have. We even invite non-muslims to our Mosques to see what we are really like and a couple of TV channels running 24/7.

You dont see any of this, but then again why would you? Media is controlled so much. But if we were to talk about protesting on it's own, we do that too:

Apparently this guy's family lives in one of the burbs of Seattle and people have been driving by his parents house and harassing them...

But yeah he's a dickless coward that doesn't deserve to wear a uniform (except for an orange jump suit courtesy of Leavenworth)

in this link, there's about 5 videos of US soldiers shooting goats, dogs, running over iraqi cars with tanks,
haven't you people seen the blackwater videos, with the contractors shooting at cars for fun, and they play 'another one bites the dust' in the background? i mean, this is nothing new. US soldiers have nothing to shoot in Iraq/Afghanistan so they practice on the dogs and civilians.

It truly does.

My friend was killed back in December over there after only 6 weeks.

He was an extremely quiet, reserved and calm. But you did not mess with him. If some did shit to him, he would confront them and that would end that. He was an animal lover and if he knew this was going on, he would have been the first person to make sure these guys were "taken care of".

As far as the dog being dead. It doesn't matter, the dog shouldn't have been tossed regardless. And I have seen pups held like that before and they don't move around.

Man what a copout on his part. I might have bought that if he didn't have a shit-eating grin on his face while he was doing it. He got some sick satisfaction out of it.

It's sad that punks like this get to make it to the news while the real good guys over there for the most part go unnoticed.

P.S. I bet he drives a Mustang.

Many animals tend to go limp when held by the scruff of the neck. Puppies are carried around by their mothers this way, and they just stop moving. There is slight movement in the puppy at the beginning of the video, though. I do agree with the sounds being a bit odd, but I don't doubt it's realism.

If this was faked in any way, these soldiers would be trying to get that information out there as quickly as possible. Think about it, you basically have an entire nation that thinks you're a scumbag because you faked a video. You're going to be getting out there as best you can and informing everyone it wasn't real, and begging for forgiveness.

It is true that dogs are not allowed, and usually have to be forcibly kept from other soldiers due to their want of a companion. That being said, if it was a stray, sick dog (looked pretty healthy to me, though), they could have shot it, or just left it be. There is a very slim chance it would have followed them, especially if they made it clear to the animal that they did not mean safety.

Piece of shit. I can't say that I'm not surprised. It happens in every branch of the military. Garbage isn't consolidated in one place, its spread out.

I was on a convoy once and since we were riding in uparmored vehicles, which weigh a lot more than normal HMMWV's, the driver and tc decided to go animal hunting. Whenever they saw one, they either did everything they could to run it over or shoot it. All for fun. Stupid hicks.
