Official M-DCT Club Thread

My fellow E92 M3/M-DCT enthusiasts.

Are we going to let our brothers Lucid, Nechronics, Mantis, Southlight, ChinoOrtega and others show us up with their cool aviators and official 6MT Club???

Come on guys lets show those old timers that we are the wave of the future. We will no longer stand for jerkyness in our gear changes. In traffic our feet will be at ease as we go into automatic mode effortlessly with complete precision. We demand smooth and fast gear changes every single time. We will always get 0 - 60 in 4.6 seconds or less no matter our mood or the quality of our effectiveness as a driver.

And most importantly, club M-DCT's wives will be happy. And you know what they say?
Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half a sorrow. ~Swedish Proverb

I am in.....

We need to start looking at cool avatars.

The Club 6MT have a cool avatar but how do you show the great technology that is the M-DCT?

I am sure people had this debate with the electric starter.... The Hand-crankers had a great 1920's Internet avatar of a handcrank and the Electric starter guys had mediocre avatars of a key or a button.

We need something cool for M-DCT

I agree I will start working on an aviator tomorrow. Unless someone wants to contribute something before. Welcome

Although I never got around to formalizing a club I think I am actually a founding memeber. We have BS-ed about such a club for sometime. I guess I just did not feel the need to formalize things. It is OK as well to stick to formalities, in which case I'll just be the spokesman or communications officer.

M-DCT FTW.

P.S. My DCT car is on order as well.

I saw many people wanting to do it. I just wanted to make it official since I saw all the cool 6MT aviators around the boards. Spokesman/Communications Officer you are.

Me, FifthStreetz, skierman64, SMSgt B are only changing our aviator for a week to show support. You can always change it back this weekend. I will work on a better aviator later.

I am test driving a 6MT this weekend and the MDCT when it arrives at my dealer. No buying decision until I test drive.

My 335xi would be the car to go if I did buy.

If asked nicely I might consider designing one for you too.

Posted the photo link to the gear selector (not a gear knob at such) and I bet I could come up with something.

Members what do you think about an official siggy? Thanks to Footie for offering to design an official Aviator/siggy.

Hey Footie, good work on the 6MT avatar..... I am thinking for the MDCT logo, something novel would be ideal (not too far off from the geek with the joystick).

See if you can do something with this one (serious request)
