I strongly second both of those thoughts.

Here is to hoping/praying my week 13 DCT build gets bumped forward a slight bit as well.

Could it be that folks will take delivery of DCT cars in the US before Europe? Would be a nice little win for the US. Could it be that customers will be driving their DCT cars before a major rag gets a test (doubtful but no test or even first drive reports yet which is strange).

Yes, it takes about 6-7 days for the car to be completed. Def. no more than 7 days from what people been saying.

then 3-5 days to get to port. Probably 1 to 2 weeks to get into the ship, then 1 week across the Atlantic...So it should be here first week of April, 2nd week the latest im guessing.

The ship makes it it to NJ in 11 days. It sounds like VPC can take 3-4 days. Then another 1-2 days for it to get to your dealer.

Mine will be finished on the 3rd. Maybe they'll get on the same ship!

Fifth, have you called yet this morning regarding your VIN?

When we get our cars next month, we'll defenitely have to get together somewhere along the NJTP like exit 8A or where ever halfway is. I'm guessing some others will want to join us just to get a look at 2 of the first DCT cars in the US.

Have you called your dealership to get an update on the status. They should know something by now I'd think. You're going to need to join Fifth and I when we get together. What's your zip code or town?

Fifth, no, I'm not from New Brunswick, but that looks to be the halfway point between your zip and where I live. Exit 9. I'm sure we can find someplace at Rutgers we can meet, right off the exit.

In fact, I have a friend teaching ROTC at Rutgers, he can probably suggest a place. Besides he just bought a new 330, so he'd want to see our cars anyhow.
