I just can't see spending that kind of money on a GTR and then having it serviced by the guy who just finished working on a Sentra. Waiting in the service dept waiting room with crack babies crawling all over you... I'll pass.
I traded my 07 G35 Sedan on an 08 335 E90 because Infiniti's service dept. was so bad. I can't imagine how bad Nissan's service dept. next door would have been (same owner). When I say bad, I mean cops call you at work because your cars on blocks with the wheels gone at the dealership bad, oily black footprints on the carpet, you name it.

I believe that Nissan should have chose to sell the GT-R at Infiniti dealers under the Nissan badge. It seems as though the Nissan dealers don't know what in the hell they are doing. I am not a big fan of the fake names slapped on cars (Ie. Lexus, Acura, and Infiniti). Kudos to Mazda.
To all of you bashing Japanese cars: Just remember who makes the most reliable and best selling cars in the world. There is no argument, the Japanese know how to make cars that will run forever, and lots of people buy them. |

This is true. Dealers had to put up $25k, have the mechanic(s) properly trained to work in the car and have special equipment for the car, too include a specific alignment rack. I also believe that they are required to have a dedicated service bay.

also, i think it's because back then, the R34 wasn't really available commercially here in the U.S.. and now all these whiners are so insecure about themselves knowing that they will soon cross path with a GT-R on the road that they have to come up with justification and excuses why the M3 is .x slower here and there, to the point they start badgering another vehicle based on its badge. it's a pity that some M3s are/will be driven by such insecure people. cheers! |
