Who produced the Enhanced Audio System for..

the M? OK, so I did a quick search and failed. Certainly the system is not produced by a team at BMW? What high-end audio makers have done production car audio?

Mark Levinson?
Dynaudio?

I believe it is Harman International (Harman Karon, Mark Levinson, Infinity, etc.)

Certainly LEAR Coporation supply the digital full class D audio amplifier with Dirac Live technology for the high end audio system.

what's funny, as i mentioned in another thread, that BMW site doesnt even recognize the existence of this M audio system. it only speaks of Logic7, while logic7 isnt even an option on the M3. WTF

Harmon also has Revel.

I know Lexus is already using the Levinson brand. But how about Levinson front end/amps, Lexicon processing and Revel speakers? That would rock!

Dirac just sells software, or "IP" as it is typically called. The hardware is manufactured by somebody else

I really think it's weird that BMW is not releasing more info on the sound systems.. it's actually something they can promote. Pretty clear that the dirac feature comes with the high end, but what about the speaker types (material used and other info), power output (rms), including subwoofers, etc.. etc...
