Gives you an idea what the cops are upto, if it were me I'd mount the camera in a location where the speedo etc isn't visible and make sure tax disk holders etc can't identify your car, they might be able to prove it was you driving from your hand & watch

Arrgh! What a police state the UK is turning into. Congestion charges, speed and surveillance cameras everywhere, cops scouring YouTube for crimes, denial of internet access for those using torrents. It just sounds awful.

Britain used to be such a quaint place, more known for odd laws like, It is illegal to impersonate a Chelsea Pensioner and, It is permitted for a pregnant woman to urinate into a policeman's helmet.

Yeah when Blair got into power they introduced Target based management for everything, 10 years ago a cop might pull you over and give you a stern warning, now he has to book you to meet his quota...

I'm glad to know my camera rig will work in my new car when it arrives.
