First "Brembo" big brakes system BBK installed...

Here we are..the first owner changed his brake system and putted the Brembo racing system with six pistons.
Cost: about 5.000 euro... So the question is: better to spend (unluky in Europe) 3.800 euro for the new M-dtc or 5.000 euro for a better, much better brake system? what will give better racing feeling at the end?

about the brakes.....

- disks Brembo Racing type 3 : 380x32x64.25mm floating with base supports in ergal
- brakes Brembo monolitic with 6 pistons
- pads Ferodo DS 3000
- tubes: areonautical type
- oil castrol SRF

the owner says that in the same track his M3 is now faster for about 1,5 sec.
The track is the Italian "Vairano".

Dont need drilled disks.

Vents are vents and as long as the gas escapes the slots are better at directing the hot gasses away from the rotor and they are easier on the pads.

An M3 comparably equipped to a 335i cost about $16K more. Isn't part of that $16K supposed to go toward better brakes??!!

he means on a track the new brakes shaved off a few seconds, thus guessing the car would be closer to the dct's time
