Stereo clarification..... - M3 Forum 2010 2009 BMW M3 2008 BMW M3 BMW E90 M3 E92

Tried to search this with no good results and dealer unsure. I'm status 112 (Space grey/ fox red / carbon) in the northeast and only a couple days to go so I need some quick info. I'm driving an early production '06 330i with a stereo I'm satisfied with. No HK logos anywhere, but it is Logic 7. Is this the same as the base M3 system? I'd rather not spend the extra $1900 if the base system is good enough for me.

PS - The feedback from those who have experienced the upgraded ($1,900) audio package have been exceptionally pleased.

Guess I didn't try very hard......thanks very much for the quick reply. Very informative thread. Looks like base is something less than my current 330 and $1900 will give me something better. The stock stereo in my 993 is terrible, but the engine sounds so good I don't seem to notice/care. This motor supposedly sounds so good......I'll probably want to listen to the motor anyway. Stock it is!

I'm in upper Bucks....ordered from Daniel's in the Lehigh Valley. I think the salesman thinks it'll go to 150 by the end of the week, hense the push. How about you?

Same. Although I didn't order from a local dealer.

I was always under the impression that the Logic7 system was not an option for the M3, it was either base stereo or Enhanced Audio but BMWUSA now clearly lists Logic7 under "model highlights"and "entertainment" for the M3... I hope thats right... There is a member on another forum that stated that Australian M3's have the Logic7 as the standard stereo
