Any status updates GregW / Oregon?

you have any updates on your status? my car is still "at the docks waiting for a vessel"

I've done some research though. If I am correct our vehicles should be on the Sirius Leader and is to be expected feb 27-29th. Let me know if you have any other updates.

I don't think you'll have your car at launch. One it arrives in late Feb, it has to go through VPC and then sent to your dealer, so hopefully you'll have it mid-March. Also, if you're on the Sirius Leader, you can track its progress here:

really think it would take more then 10 days to go through the VPC? sure hope not.

Sirius leader has no info on where it came from but its headed to port Hueneme. I really dont know if thats my ship or not. Sure wouldnt mind if it was the Centaurus Leader, she is due to arrive feb 23rd.

BTW Xcellere, how long did it take for your order to update that teh car was on the boat?

To get off the boat, go through VPC, shipped to your dealer, and then prepped should take over ten days without doubt.

Every update I had took two days to show up on the Owner's Circle system. Hope this helps.

My car is still in the same status as yours (my CA just checked DCS), waiting to be shipped. I wouldn't think vessels would show up on that site until they had left their departure port? Without intermediate stops, the journey should take about 20 days. VPC is 2 days minimum (probably more), plus 1-2 days trucking for you, 2-3 for me. I believe customer-ordered cars (as opposed to dealer stock) get priority at VPC.

It's still theoretically possible our cars will be here by 3/8, but looking less likely all the time.

Ya, I was just looking at the expected vessels to arrive at port Hueneme and the last vessel they have on there list on file as of today is the Sirius Leader that is due in on the 27th. Guess I'm just be fishing but I'm looking forward to the release date.

I just really want my car. The weather here in the bay has blossomed the sun is calling my name for some road trips.

My car has been "En Route" since the beginning of last week. Is there any way I can find out which vessel it is on?

Yes, this is correct. Customer ordered cars are supposed to be gone from the VPC within 24 hours. Unless of course they have to repair something that was damaged in shipping

Your SA can tell you what ship it's on. If your car is on a ship, it's on one of these two NYK ships: Green Lake or Sirius Leader.

If you want to get really obsessive.... hit the MINI boards - either MINI2.com or northamericanmotoring.com - look in the order tracking sections and there should be a post/sticky there on the link for the Panama Canal webcam.

Most of the West Coast folks track the ship to there, and then watch the cam for the ship with the car to go by....

(as if you didn't already spend a lot of time online waiting for your new baby...)

My car was officially produced yesterday. Maybe it'll be on the same vessel.

According to the 800 Number and BMWNA my car is still sitting at the damn docks waiting for vessel. So Far I know My dealership already has 2 vehicles on a boat headed to Cali and this disturbes me considering my production completion was freaking 23rd of Jan. My car was ready with the other 2 cars but not put on a boat!! On the bright side the other M3 that is on a boat the guy bought for 10k over. thats not my case and I wil be hopefully getting my car the same day if not a week later.

BMWNA was even surprised that my car has been at the docks for so long
been their since last Thursday. I sure hope it gets on a boat today or tomorrow at most.

its a 28 day trip from europe to my dealers. he showed me all their orders adn how much time it took to get them there. Average 28 days up to 30 days.

That's odd that it's taking so long. Must have just missed a sailing. We should be on the same ship, then, even though mine didn't finish until 2/5. I was hoping for 3/8, but a week later would be fine.

Tell me about it. only way I could see it being worse is if it was on the other side of a window and I couldn't get over to it. I would probably look like a fly trying to get in, in that case.
