Official memo about 19" and M-DCT delays

Got this from my dealer today. Seem that I have been delayed but I don't know my production date so just a guess as to why I am stuck at 111. Ugh, like someone else said this after years of waiting... Way to go BMW.

Swamp, did they ever give you an "estimated" production date for your 111 order? If you saw my posts on the other thread, it took me a few tries, but I eventually got some specific info on that. Best of luck to you on this one...

Hopefully BMW will use some common sense and build cars with 19"/6spd or M-DCT/18". This will allow 2 cars to be produced as opposed to only 1 car with 19"/M-DCT. Sorry 19"/M-DCT guys but your going to get screwed.....

MDCT isn't even out in Europe. Are we really that screwed? Just think that Europe gets to do the first round of testing. Hopefully some bugs will be fixed for production in NA =)

Doesn't sound right to me. I think they are shooting for a worldwide simultaneous release of M-DCT in March.

@lucid: I never got a production date. The automated phone system did tell me (99% chance in err) that my car is in transport. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

Well, that's the ball game for me. It's now clear that I won't be taking ED in April. Horrible news but at least I know.

I'm also keeping my fingers crossed. Thurday I was still on schedule for week 10 with DCT/19's but I will find out tomorrow if anything has changed. I hate this suspense.
