EDC or upgrade suspension? Or both?
Just wondering what you guys are going to do about suspension. Is EDC + aftermarket springs a good idea? Seems like ZTP forces you to get EDC and you can't get all the other things in the package individually. What are your plans?

Aftermarket springs on EDC
Quote:
Likely the EDC valving will have enough capacity to handle slightly shorter (stiffer) springs. I'll wait for some reputable companies to develop them and get user feedback.

Yep, wait for Ground Control to develop springs and adj camber plates for EDC cars.

the thing with springs is when you get them they feel great. a few months down the road the car will feel like shit. so even if companies come up with springs for the car that doesnt mean it's a good way to go.
we're the first people to get the car, no one has put springs on their m3er's yet. so u cant really predict what's gonna happen |

Too bad the stock springs don't have adjustable perches.

I have a friend who lowered his car with H&R on his M6 and after about 3 months the factory shocks lost its compression and he needs to purchase new shocks now. The cost was $1700 plus labor.
This made me concerned about putting new springs on the M3 especially H&R ones that are typically far too aggressive. |

Yea that is the risk you take when you get aftermarket springs without proper shocks
