While I'm not a HUGE fan of the M3, it does look it's best in Alpine white, SSII, Interlagos blue and Space Gray. I'd need to see all 4 colours side by side to pick 1 from them. Great colours.

There are plenty of things about the M3 which we can talk about.

Have some balls for God's sake.

If I was torn between two colours I would take a quick poll and ask others what they think, purely out of interest. I'd also like comments. For example the comments people make about keeping black looking good are quite useful.

However, I would always try to see both colours in real life and then make the decision. I wouldnt just base a decision on as you said would be the help of "complete strangers in a completely subjective decision".

I don't think there is a better looking color on most cars than black. The assumption is that it is cleaned meticulously and kept in pristine condition. I've had one black car, and it was a royal bitch to keep clean as a daily driver.
