BBS RS-GT (8.5/9.5) from e46 M3 - What spacers?
Hello all,
I was told that I would need to run spacers up front, and I'm a total idiot when it comes to understanding offset. My philosophy has always been to order them to fit rather than retrofit. However, I'll be transferring my 19" RS-GTs to the e92 M3 after I get the lips refinished. What spacer size would be recommended to run these comfortably? Thanks! Patrick |

I'm assuming your front wheels are +35 offset and your rear wheels are +25. If this is the case, your front wheels should fit, but to ensure the most flush fit, you can add a 5-10mm spacer to the front depending how "flush" you want to your wheels to look. A 245/35/19 and 265/35/19 can be safely run with your wheels on the E92 M3.

VMR,
If he runs a spacer does he need longer lug nuts/bolts?

Yes, most spacers that are 10-15mm in width should come with longer lug bolts, however if they don't you must find longer lug bolts before installing the spacers. Quality companies like H&R always include longer lug bolts to compliment their spacers.

I have 8.5x19 et 35 and 9.5x19 et 40 bbs rs-gts on my e90 with 10 mm H&R spacers on the rear wheels. I hope to use these light wheels on my M3 with a 15mm spacer on the rear, and either a 5mm spacer on the front. The red centercaps should look nice with my Fox red seats.
