M3 at Philly Auto Show?

Does anyone know if the M3 Coupe or Sedan will be at the 2008 Philly Auto Show? The show runs from Feb. 2-10, and their website doesn't list the M3 as one of the featured cars; the 1 series and X6 are listed though. I was unable to get confirmation from my local dealership nor from the BMW Customer Relations hotline.

Here's the link for the auto show:

They had an X6 and a 128i convertible. I was told by one of the representatives that the reason was that the show car for this particular show was one of the damaged ones on the freight ship. I don't necessarily believe that, but whatever.

It wasn't there. I went first day. I spoke to NA rep there first day. He said they are limited because of that incident. Maybe they will bring it later on this week from somewhere.

What a lame marketing decision on the part of BMW NA. I know the M3 was at the LA, Detroit and Washington auto shows, so why not Philly? I wonder if it will be at the NY auto show. I'm going this week to the Philly show at the end of the week, and I'm disappointed the M3 won't be there.

It will most certainly be at the NY Auto Show. The Philadelphia show is a "B" auto show, and New York is one of the biggest/best - everyone will have their new toys displayed (Ferrari Scuderia, etc). The problem for many of us is that the Philadelphia Auto Show was the first and last opportunity to see the new M3 prior to having our production status go into 150.

The BMW rep at the show told me the m3 would be in NY.

I'm sure they didn't count on the incident on the ship. Otherwise I'm sure the M3 would have been in Philly.
