I guess I should post my status 112 screen dump as well

My car is status 112 as I'm sure many others' as well, so maybe it will brighten up the morale of the M3 faithful.... c'mon folks, let's not let BMW's delaying of US price info and secrecy with M-DCT get us down. The M3's are coming soon!

Nice. That's a great feeling to see it officially in the system?

Mine's just 90 or so before yours!

Nice to see this screen for someone in the US.
But, sad that we have to do this without pricing.

Enhanced Audio

Masmole, Your order screen shows M audio with enhanced base, but does not show Nav or Tech package. Were you able to order the upgraded system without those? Or is this the standard system? What is the option code for this? 676 or 762?
Your car will be stunning with the white on red. Congrats.

Production status

Just checked with my sales rep. and got the ordering system printout. Mine went 112 on Monday, 1/7, with production scheduled for the second week in February. I asked him how long I had to make changes, and this was the reply,

"When a car is ramping up to production, one has to loosely interpret the "Req. Production" date. It appears that your car is due to be produced by the second week of February. If that is the case, typical production BMW's would flip to a 150 status by the end of this month. The problem here is that BMW may have sourced subcontractors for specific components of this car which may require a lock up of the modification process earlier than normal. This early lock up is typical of new cars due to the variables that may affect the M3. In short, although I would expect the 150 status to occur a couple of weeks before the scheduled production, I don't feel comfortable committing to that schedule on the M3 yet.

Our first allocation is not in not in a 150 status as of this morning."

Mine is the second allocation. I'm hoping to have a couple more weeks, during which we will perhaps get pricing, to finalize my order.

Good to hear that part of the process is progressing.
What will you do if pricing is not available?

Order with no pricing

I'll go ahead with the order. I don't really want to go over $70k, but that's not hard and fast. I would probably be conservative and stick with White and Speed Cloth, and delete Enhanced Premium Sound to save around $3k, probably.

I did order the enhanced sound which apparently shows up in the tracking system as "M Audio with enhanced bass". The Tech package is there but the entire list of options doesn't show in the small window until I scroll down by clicking the arrow. [UPDATE: I edited the image to include all options that were listed when scrolled]. Since navigation is included in the Tech package, it wasn't listed separately. Also note that for some reason, as others have also experienced, the 19" wheels refuse to show up on the order tracking website even though it's confirmed the dealer's ordering system.

I pretty much ordered a fully loaded car. The only option I didn't check was the moonroof because I wanted to have the Carbon fiber roof (which I assume comes standard on coupes as long as you skip the moonroof). Oh and I didn't check spoiler delete either because I think I'll just take it off myself if I decide I don't like it.

Ya. I did exactly the same as you. Ordered everything. I know I'll never use for instance the HD radio for listening to music ... but there scope there for it to be used for some interesting data services ... so I figured I might was well go and order it. Everything else (for me at least) is good stuff ....

Grrr ... if only we could have front PDC, tv tuner, and the high beam assist ... ;-)
