Could be considered a very stupid question but:

I am expecting my M3 to arrive at mid to the end of march and was considering putting on different rims...

The car is Alpine white and would it look ok to put white rims on that are would that be out of the question?

My choice is - black Hamann Edition Race 20". Look amazing on almost any color
