i got a question, can you lose umm say 10 pounds by just running, 3 times a week in a month?

I did that walking 5 days a week, 1/2 hour each morning (about 2.5 miles, I walk rather fast) and 3 afternoons for about 45 minutes.

i hate my gym dont matter what! its so hard for me to find a gym i actually like. ive been to so many over the yrs. I am always payin for 2 memberships bc gyms always start to suck after awhile

90% is diet anyway....

i hate my gym... its coed but its open late.. my all female gym doesnt care about the clients.. just care about $$... they close when they feel like it but its def more comfortable... dont have to worry about bending over and some guy looking at my ass... there are almost no mirrors there either.

well i weighed myself at 206 recently and i freaked out.

im 511/6ft

i plan about 2 miles 4-5 times a week....homemade smoothie for breakfast....a yogurt for snack before lunch...lunch is a homemade chicken salad...dinner is another smothie...taking vitamins to make up for meats and such.

running at night about 3-4 hours before bed

wow thats alot of running! id just stick to a nice tapered low carb diet and cut back on all the running and if anything do it first thing in the AM when u wake up. Your goin to want to reserve back on whatever muscle u have unless ur just out right tryin to cut weight.

im 6'2 at like 215ish but i pretty much eat shit food and workout like everyday wether its MMA training or the Gym or just jogging/sprinting. But 6' at 206 doesnt sound bad. unless thats all fat at 206 then just diet and lift weights. But diet is most important thing when it comes to ur bodys apperance

well im trying to cut out fat above all...going to gain muscle after ive done that...

what i dont get is people see me and guess 175-185 190 tops...i dont get it...i mean i dont think im muscular in any way

shit, I'd throw a party! I'm 6-1, about 285! At my current 21%, I'd be friggin' RIPPED at 205. Actually I'd be deathly ill. I'll be happy when I get down around 235, but I'm probably gonna have to drop muscle too if I want to get there and stay. Long term over the next five years I want to get down to 215. I'm still carrying weight from [the glory days!], no need to be this big anymore. I'm down 10 lbs over the last 2 months, including a little "blip" up over christmas. Well see if I can get to 260 by June.

The duration of your run is more important than the distance. For burning fat, running two miles in 12 minutes is less efficient than running two in 30.
