I just finished watching it!

The outcome was obvious, the M3 is still the best car. I'm surprised they got Clarkson to admit it! Guess he really liked it too.

WTG BMW, another masterpiece!

What a good way to begin Christmas celebrations. This is an outstanding win for the E92 M3.

If you are downloading via BitTorrent do you have the port correctly mapped? That makes a massive difference to the download speed.

The apple test was the determining factor!

It is interesting that it is deemed the most precise car of the bunch after all the steering criticism.

+1. Just finished watching. The apple part was one of my favorites as well. Absolutely classic AMG vs M. It is odd though given how much we have all read about the incredible improvements to the AMGs steering and handling that these guys ragged it so badly. I am not suprised much by the M3 having the most precise steering. As far as I can tell not having driven it, it has a bit of a new feel and a bit more boost as well probably more isolation of NVH and a much tighter ratio. However, steering boost, steering precision, steering feel and steering ratio are absolutely not synonymous. Folks are simply accepting the change for what it is and what it delivers.

A very nice and convincing victory for the M3. DCT will widen the margin as well and narrow it on straight line contests vs. the AMG.

This one is for you ruff, since I am such a "terrible BMW fanboy".

P.S. You need xvid codec for the avi with WMP.

Seems so, about 5 seconds on a 2 1/2 minute track. Anyone have any other Ascari lap times to put these in perspective? I don't know anything about the track but it must be tight, really favoring lower weight, agility, control and handling over hp since the Merc is probably at least 480 hp.

I just realized that I am a "torrent luddite" - I have reached 100% download and I have no conception how I can view the show ... -> on me!

I'm surprised they all came around like that. Well, at least that Jezza did. I'm glad all the same though.

I still have to view it. But hats off to Clarkson for dropping his Bimmer bias

Yup. Love this show. If you haven't seen the Africa Safari one this season I strongly recommend it.

Great show in all regards. As much as I LOVE Tiff Nedell's driving talent on 5th gear, the production value and comedy of Top Gear makes it a better show. That one had the best of everything: comedy, drama, laps on a real race circuit (not the runway . . . ) performed by The Stig and the M3 coming out on top!!

So the remaining questions is: 2 doors or 4?
