Happy Holidays M3 Drivers (The Rest of Us Are a Little Jealous):

Just a quick note to introduce myself and invite any road course drivers out there to join MVP Track Time for track days in 2008. You can find us at www.MVPTrackTime.com. We are open to all makes of cars including covertibles that meet roll bar requirements.

Our 2008 track days (so far) are as follows:

April 21 - Putnam Park (Near Indianapolis) - SOLDOUT
May 9 - Summit Point (Summit Point, WV) [Private Corporate Event] - SOLDOUT
June 2 - Autobahn Country Club (Near Joliet, IL.) - SOLDOUT
August 18 - Autobahn Country Club
September 13 & 14 - Blackhawk Farms (Beloit, WI)

Both Autobhan dates are once again the entire 3.56 mile road course. None of this namby-pamby 1/2 track stuff. We will be announcing at least one more track day for 2008 soon. Registration by downloadable form or on line is available at:

If you not sure what you'd like for Christmas (before you get yet another tie, an I-pod download or more cologne), we even have gift certificates available.

BMWCCA does a nice job helping Novices and that's why we have several BMWCCA instructors helping us, but many BMWCCA chapters are NOT convertible (or sunroof/targa top) friendly and I'll bet we offer more track time and less standing around time at the track.

Does MVP tracktime allow for unlimited passing or is it on a point-by policy similiar to BMWCCA driver's schools?

Also I see in the OP that the Summit Point event is a "private corperate event" so I'm wondering if it's open to other drivers, if not, then why was it mentioned in this thread? I'm slightly confused on that one.

Just wondering since Summit Point is closest to my house.

Like other clubs we use the point by rules for passing.

The Summit Point event is a private corporate event we are hosting for an automobile dealer group out of Maryland. It may open up to general registration in 2-3 weeks. Keep an eye on our web site www.MVPTrackTime.com. Happy Motoring!

With four weeks until our first track weekend (September 13th & 14th) at Blackhawk Farms Raceway northwest of Chicago, we are 3/4 full. If you'd like to register for the Blackhawk track weekend, visit us at:

Autobahn August 18th was near perfect, barring a few offs. We had a full house for a gorgeous day. Let's hope September 13th & 14th at Blackhawk Farms is the same.
