Is there a place you can measure the weight of vehicle for free?
CAT scale costs about $10.

The weight issue kept me on the fence about this car for quite some time. After multiple test drives, the weight became secondary to the overall excellence of the package. With this car, I think the weight issue is over-emphasized. It drives lighter than its weight (and lighter than the 335is it replaced).

The car feels, and drives, different than my 981BS that weighs 700 lbs less - but I love them both and would still be ESTATIC if the M3 was my only car.

In terms of low cost scales either scrap yards or landscape supply houses will sell/buy based on weight. You may try one close to you.

A basic equipped E92M feels very nimble
From perspective of my DD -- an e46

My car has every option except satellite radio. How much does it weigh?

I also have an akra evo so that deleted something like 62 lbs off stock. Also BMW performance seats going in this week. That should save weight off the standard heat/lumbar/full power novillo seats.

The bmw, performance, seats, actually save about 3 pounds sadly as they require a bunch of heavy mounting hardware. Also have you sat in them? The seating position is much higher than stock due to mounting and they really make you feel way way too hight.

They are actually 6.6 lbs lighter according to threads on here. Still I guess not a difference either way. They actually are lower than stock. The one you may have sat in were set on the higher mounting position most likely.
There are two settings when you install them in bolt hole format.

Same here, always wondered what one weighs with only ZCP and no other options.

BTW this is a two year old thread.

Wild, unpredictable torque surges was my experience when I drove a M4 at Hutchison Island Raceway. Fun if you're a drag strip guy, not fun if you're trying to drive a good line.
