That would be consistent w/ the video I saw on youtube of the rs4 vs m3 on an air strip - in Scandanavia - then some bendy back road at the end of the 'strip. The rs4 got out faster then the m3 surpassed the rs4.

I'm sure the M button was pressed!

German SPD (mainstream labor party) basically decided on a party congress to introduce a general speed limit of 130 Km/h. But they can't obtain a majority to enforce that decision (yet). So it's not coming very soon, but anytime it will (maybe even due to EU regulation:sad0147.

Best regards, south

My relatives in Deutschland are peaceable folk, but they would be up in arms if a speedlimit were to be placed on the 'open' parts of the 'Bahn.

But, the green case + EU alignment is increasing political pressure ...

Cheers South for info. We'll have to keep an eye on that then. Luckily it's only 30 km from Lux to Germany

It's called "European hippie-tree-huggers-unite". (no offense to any hippietreehuggers meant though)

Anyway, the use of M Button is quite addictive. I enjoy the transformation from a civilized animal to pure beast.

I drive in M mode most of the time. In fact, I only really go back to standard mode if I have a passenger in the car and the road is a bit bumpy or if I'm in stop-start traffic in town...

Let me tell you how addictive the M-Button is when you have Power set to Sport plus.

Even though I'm in the brake in period... I keep hitting the M-button. Overtaking in 170 km/h. Accelerating like crazy. I'm even prepared wrecking my car for just another second of this button, it's amazing. And as soon as I have one of my parents in my car, I go easy... Nicely... Softly, which makes even them enjoy the ride (my mother hates our obsession of sportcars).
