Frequency of use of M Button?

It would be interesting to know how frequently you guys use the M Button. I personally enjoy driving my M3 aggressively with the use of M Button but the consumption of gas is painful. Typically, I use it only when there is a 911 or RS4 around.

I am curious, how do you fair against either of these two rivals?

It's interesting but I challenged a Carrera S 2 days ago and I suppose it was intimated because initially the guy pushed the gas with limited success but then in the red light he decided not to go forward, he just moved sideways behind other car. Against an RS4 in a very long street, initially the RS4 was quicker but after some distance I pulled in front.

I'd turn it on whenever I fancy a bit of fun. Which is typically a nightly thing. Not necessarily racing, just driving with some urgency around for the fun of benefiting from the car's excellence.

As soon as you find out (which you will do now) that the M3 has a stopwatch. You'll ALWAYS be racing.

Haha, It's a little tricky to get to, but it's in the navigator It can also count the intermedian (spelling?) time between 2 clocked laps.

I wouldn't look at it as holding out, more of like... Saving you a surprise

Oh no !!! This means I'll be in constant competition with my husband and I'm sure we'll be betting each other's records to no end . I wonder which one of us is going to loose the driving licence first Maybe we should do the competition part in Germany... at least until the non-limited motorway parts still exist.

Hahahahaaa, tough luck

What do you mean by "at least until the non-limited motorway parts still exist."?
Are they gonna remove Autobahn? :-O I better get out there soon then!

Sorry, I forgot to answer the original thread.

I use it when I feel for driving faster than ordinary where it involves turns.
I'm still at brake-in so my G-spot (M-button ) only stiffens the suspension and put the steering into sport mode. And it's starting to get slippery in Sweden now so I really can't be asked to disable DSC/TC

I don't know, but I've heard some rumours (or was it even in the news ?) about new 130 km/h speedlimits on the unlimited parts of German motorways. Maybe someone from Germany could tell us more about this ? Anyway, get your *** quickly down here before the law changes if you want to have some fun in Germany

I don't see why it would be changed. I've read plenty of articles on how having no speed limit has produced crash rates and collisions at very similar amounts to normal speed regulated high-ways.
