Blackstone oil analysis vacuum pump

Hey all,

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just purchased this vacuum pump and supplied tubing to take an oil analysis on an e92 M3 I'm purchasing. Has anyone ever used one of these to get the oil through the dipstick? Driving 5 hours to see the car, have it inspected and take a sample for analysis, any help would be appreciated!

I, along with many others, wish it had a dipstick.
Hope you didn't buy that thing.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

You can take a sample from the oil filter housing, which is located topside near the oil filler cap (in front of passenger side cylinder head).

You will need a large (36mm) socket or wrench to remove the oil filter cannister lid, however,

Yep, that's exactly what I've done. Very easy.
