Any aftermarket exhausts around SE Michigan?

Hi all, I'm looking for a new exhaust however its hard to decide strictly on you tube videos

Rabman5 was kind enough to meet me so I could hear his B&B, it was great. However I was hoping to hear a few more examples before making a buy.

Any meets coming up, or anybody around to meet up? Thanks

I got Kreisseig exhaust with X-pipe, I'm more than happy to show you my set-up if you're willing to come up to Lansing area. Also, my friend got Eisenmann on his M3, I'm sure he's willing to show you his exhaust as well, if you're interested. He's on vacation right now, but will be back in couple weeks.

Great. Do you feel yours is too loud for a DD?

How was the B&B exhaust? Too loud for use as a DD?

Not too loud, sounded great. However I want to hear a couple more before making a purchase to compare against.

I have a Remus Sport exhaust -- sounds great if you're not looking for decibels. It is slightly louder than the stock exhaust with a nice bassy undertone at low rpms. It adopts more of a high-pitched whine as the RPMs increase which is intoxicating. And, as an added bonus, there is minimal to no drone. A great exhaust although, in my opinion, the Akrapovic is the way to go.

So... are you guys open on getting together for a short meet? Or, maybe plan on the August cars and coffee in Madison Heights? There were about 5 M3's there last time.

I would love to hear the Remus Sport since that's top of my list (budget and sound).

Sent you a PM. I'm sure we can work something out, either locally in Ann Arbor, or at a later meet.

Well, I was about to buy a Remus Sport based on sound and budget, then came across a used Eisenmann Sport for about the same price. I bought the Eisenmann and am pretty happy with it. Its a little to bassy at idle and low RPM, but overall nice sounds and very happy with it as a DD. I figured for what I paid, I could always sell it for what I bought it for if it doesnt work out.

If all else was equal: I would love the M Performance exhaust - however @ $4k its just waaay too much coin for me.

Thanks all for your help!

I would love to hear the OEM exhaust mod, as well as any aftermarket exhausts. We should do a quick meetup sometime on a weekend.

Sure. Just let me know when and I'll try to figure out if it works -- my schedule blows.
