Aftermarket DCT Shift Knob

Was hunting for something that would match my MPerformance steering wheel (stitching/leather) and happened across this one. Matched the alcantara and stitching perfectly and certainly matches everything better interior wise versus the oem silvery color. Overall I’m very pleased and wish the oem knob had come more “sporty” (even though it’s a DCT).

*no clue why the pictures came out sideways but can’t figure out how to right them*

I don't have one, but based on my own interest and research it does not retain the illumination.

Correct. The illumination really wasn’t a make/break for me as the dash just tells you what drive mode you’re in anyways.

I don’t think I will be. I tend to hoard oem parts in the wild case that I need to revert to stock.

Can you link me the product? Also I saw on their website that its is designed for E90 DCT fitment. Were there any changes needed to fit it onto the E92 or was it perfect fitment?

Also interested in this. It looks like it might retain the knob illumination.

This was posted on a Facebook E9x M3 group page and I believe it does retain illumination. Unfortunately the person that posted it refused to give any further detail.

That's why I don't bother with FB anymore. Not helpful, just showing off.
