Buy 2011 new or order 2012 new?

Here's the thing, if I order a 2012 model it is basically 3-4k more expensive than if I were to buy a in stock 2011 M3 E92 (with the same features/color/everything as the 2012 one I want except for the back sunshade, BMW app, and any other newly added 2012 features)

What should I do guys? Should I wait till January for a brand new 2012 car or get the 2011 one for 3-4k cheaper and maybe one or two less features. Or wait for the newer model ...

2012 will have the best resale value for the next couple years. That is why I would buy 2012 then get the new one when it comes out in a few years if you like it.

most of us that have already bought 2012's have done so at just a few hundred over cost so if you buy the 2011 you should be getting it for less than invoice to make it attractive. Even then the price difference is going to be minimal and with depreciation a 2011 is going to be worth much less. Unless you need to be driving one "right away" I'd suggest you order one to your specs.

Few hundred over invoice? wow.
Maybe its because I am in Canada the prices here really sucks.

I think I'd be lucky to get a 2012 for 91,500 CND

not sure about the Candadian prices but you can definitely get great deals on M3's here in the states. Ryan Amico at Steve Thomas BMW is a good person to speak with about pricing. He's all over this forum.....good luck!

No brainer IMHO - get the cheaper car.

Can you honestly wait 3 years for the car?
