Cool Milltek Sport Cat-Back Music Video

Hi guys,

I recently installed a Milltek Cat-Back with a non resonated X-Pipe
and it gave my M3 a very different sound compared to the known exhaust systems on the market.

Really love the music.
Absolutely no drone ... very raspy sound in the middle rpm and good V8 rock'n'roll in the range of 6000-8500rpm.

Turn up the volume and enjoy

Which x pipe did you go with? I have a Milltek muffler as well and I wanted to "spice" things up lately.

Their exhausts are quite popular and unique-sounding in the Audi world, too.

Cool

Currently it's non resonated and catless.
But I will throw in two 100cells within the next week into the X-Pipe
as it's a) illegal on the road and b) illegal to race catless.

But I know from many other cars. The two 100cells nearly don't change anything
in the music so all good.

X-Pipe is used is the Remus Titantium but basically all X-Pipes work.
Even the stock one is really good with removed front cats.

Don't have picture here but I posted a pic in Instagram
of the whole setup --> https://instagram.com/p/BIQOYt_jMGD/

PS: The whole system is just 8kg heavier than a whole Akrapovic,
for a quarter of the price

I'm running the milltek exhaust also. Setup with test pipes and stock x pipe. The sound is great, I get compliments all the time on it. Very deep toned at low rpm and higher toned in upper rpm. Thinking of putting a borla resonated x pipe on it.
I almost sold the exhaust because the tips stuck out too far on my e90 but I cut them and rewelded and it looks good now!

http://www.millteksport.com/index.cfm and then click on dealers. As it seems they sell their systems worldwide...

Gonna be cutting and rewelding my tips as well - especially after I get a diffuser so I can dial in the look.

Sounds great

Wasn't aware Remus made a titanium X-pipe?

Update thread when you install cats!

This exhaust sounds like it has lots of character. It is definitely underrated imho. Just utterly amazing.

I agree to the rasp, from the video it sounds as good as it can get.

I?d like to hear more about this.
