What 19" wheels are out there? Looking for Strong and Light
I'm looking to put a set of 19" wheels on my car. I want a wheel that is Strong and Light.
Right now I'm thinking HRE Monoblock series or Volk Time Attacks. any other suggestions? |

Yokohama AVS F7 and F15 are good choices too.

Can't go wrong with either or but the prices are totally different and specs are totally different.
Volk TE37: 19 - 9.5 +22 front 19 - 10.5 +20 rear HRE Monoblock: 19 - 9.0 +28 front 19 - 10.5 +28 rear. AdVan RS: 19 - 9.0 +22 front 19 - 10.0 +20 rear like I said, can't go wrong with any of them. Let your budget and style preference dictate.

It's all in the marketing. HRE wheels were banned from the track several years ago for their "quality". The monobloks should be much better though. For custom 1 piece forged wheels in the US, I only trust Champion Motorsport and CCW.

Those were Kinsesis wheels that were banned, not HRE. |

Actually HRE was banned a few years ago. A big stink was made about it.

Also FYI,
IMSA banned HRE wheels first secondary to 9 failures in one Viper track day IIRC.

Interesting. I saw the original thread on the Audi forum but never saw this follow up. I never had anything against HRE and I would certainly buy their wheels. Iforged is a company I'd definitely avoid. Not so much for the quality of their product but for their lack of customer support.
