Windshield-repair or replace

I now have been hit with a small rock on the highway for the second time this month. No major cracks, but the windshield has a visible deep scratch in two area.

The car has auto high beam and rain sensors (like all m3s). I've read that getting these windshields replaced is tricky and should only go through the dealership. I have full windshield coverage and planned on having satellite come out to my location to repair the areas.

Should I have them repair the areas or go with a full replacement? What have you guys done?

Ask dealer who does their glass replacement and repairs. The dealer contracts it out on nearly every job and usually is a competent local company (that goes to the dealer with the exact same trucks that can also come to your house).
