European Model Question

Is it possible to get a European model M3 in the US... In European delivery are you basically just driving your Americanized (reflector and all) M3 in Germany around like an idiot? lol

When you do Euro Delivery, yes, you get a US-spec model (amber lights and reflectors and all). You'd probably have to buy the car in Europe and ship it over here yourself if you really want a Euro-spec car.

Probably easier to just buy what you want in US trim, then try to get the clear turn indicators (or whatever) by ordering from a European online parts seller that's willing to ship overseas.

I'm pretty sure it's close to impossible....the DOT doesn't let cars be imported without the reflectors, etc.

Definitely easier to remove them after the fact, especially considering the difference in pricing

the euro base price for the m3 is €66K = $95K so even if you could bring it back the cost would be oos. anyway the reflector is the only real visual difference from the euro model. although the us model has those red rear turn signals. ugh! as for being an idiot .... well the m3 look sick anywhere!
