After having a centri on the car for 10 months, then back to stock, the Harrop I like much more. Better low end smooth driveability. Lots of low end torque and OE fit. It's like having a 6 litre transplant. Fitting is as good if not better than OE. Installation time less than 3/4 to half the time

500hp to the wheels if catless. Heat soak is an issue in high ambient temp.
If IAT is high, above 135, engine feels slaggish, still much stronger than stock, but nothing like in cooler temps.
For example, right now its very cold in new york, and IAT is in high 50-60s on my gauge, and let me tell you, the acceleration is phenomenal, scary fast. Not the same at all during summer

VF 620 installed and running like a champ. As everyone says, I shouldn't have waited so long to do this.

It's odd when things like this are reversed and you are considering importing rather than buying local. What I can say is Harrop have been round 55 years and are an Iso 9001 certified company and have been involved in Motorsport for 55 years, primarily being a GM supplier (still are). They have a big facility here and their own foundry. They make their own BBK which is on par with the best and are OE suppliers to companies like Kenworth. They are also an Eaton partner
There is great local support for you in USA.depending on what area you are in.
You are choosing between two great products. I've driven an ESS, owned a centri SC and now the Harrop. For daily driving, torque and OE fitment you can't go past a positive displacement but if you like sitting on the redline and track the car a lot a centri has the edge in that power band. Importing for you should not affect your choice. Good luck!

Forgot that this thread exists.
bought a used kit in December and got it installed Jan 21st. had two consecutive days of rain and could really drive it hard for two days. third day, dry/cool conditions. all i have to say is holy shit. zero traction 1-3rd gears with TC turned off. still a beast with TC on.

bought a used ESS 600 kit from a forum memember and pieced together the correct parts and tune for a 625 kit. Absolutely love it and wished i had done is sooner.

ESS 625
Machtschnell race pipe (all four cat deletes etc)
Agency Power copy exhaust
GTS/Dct transmission software
ESS 625 tune for 93 oct/cat delete stock rev limit

Anyone that is considering a supercharger for the s65, do it. you won't be sorry.

I'm so happy i chose an ESS Tuning kit and tune. I witnessed the installation of a friends 550 kit, was present when the 600 kit was removed and was also present when the 625 kit was installed. i was going to do it myself but preferred that an expert installed mine. I then helped a friend upgrade from non-intercooled to intercooled and i'm 100% confident that i could complete the install myself. I changed headers on an s54 e46m and an e36m and i believe those two mods took longer and were more frustrating. again, anybody on the fence thinking of supercharging your car, make sure you get a ride in one and it will easily convince you. sorry for the long post, i'm just really excited and happy about my supercharged s65.
