Procede with the M3
Procede with ( the purchase of )the M3
Then you will have what BMW believes is the best handling 3 series yet You wont be disapointed, the 2 days at the ring experience I spent with the M-3 were very convincing, I drove the same track in our 335i Vert ZSP 6MN, not even close, the 335 Modded ( Vishnu) car I drove yesterday was pretty amazing but did not have the overall balance of the M-3. Now you may procede with the arguments and debates

Thanks for your comparison.
The M3 is not a 3 Coupe with a big engine, it is a totally different car. Just look at the underneath of a 335 and an M3, they are totally different. The 335 is a great car, but a Chip does not an M3 make. |

Oz is saying, in an eloquent way, that a chipped 335i is not close to an M3 in terms of everything that the M3 offers, balanced handling, performance, etc.... A piggyback is not going to convert the 335i into an M3 contender.

A Dinan flash + Dinan Oil cooler is 8-10% the value of the 335i...

i never said they're worth it besides 8-10% is less than 30%
I know it wont be an M car, even if you spend that 20k on it in mods, but i dont think the 335 should be looked down upon |

Let me break it down to you guys...
the 335i is a very mod friendly straight line whore... great daily driver the M models are just different beasts, a couple of my buddies have 335i's and they still think my e46 m3 is all around better sports car... now if the e46 m3 is an overall better car than the 335i what will it's successor the e92 m3 be.... i love the 335i and think that they are breaking great numbers with those little turbos |
