Ceramic coating chipping on Dinan exhaust?

So I was washing my car today and knowticed some chipping on the real pipes of my Dinan exhaust... They are chips alright... I took a picture with my iPhone 4 (so it's not that bad a pic) to show whats happening. Anyone have this? I'm actually kinda pissed this occured. It's been on the car for about 5k miles.

UPDATE: I showed it to my Dinan salesman and he sent some pictures forward. They will be replacing both sides under warranty. A++++ to Dinan!

^ that sucks! for the price you'd pay, you'd think they'd put on a coating that wouldn't chip. You haven't been doing like 35 MPH blasts down a gravel road in reverse right? haha just kidding. I'd think that part of the exhaust wouldn't get chips. Might be a bad coating, Dinan is pretty good about covering stuff like that, just call them.

I have around 3500 miles on my Dinan mufflers and no such problems. I do have a terrible noise that has started now and I think it is most likely my Fabspeed high flow cats or maybe something broken inside one of the Dinan mufflers. Will be having the car looked at next week. Let us know what Dinan says on yours; should be covered under their warranty.

The Dinan exhaust is actually cheaper than others. They will cover this I'm sure.

i would just call i am sure they will take care of it. when i first got mine it was from one of the first batches and one of the tips was less then 1/4" off and they replaced mine 3 times no questions asked till i got one that was even. i didn't even care either bc you could barely notice but they insisted

so i am sure they would cover this

I believe this person had a similar experience but was eventually taken care of by Dinan.
