First time that this has happened with this E92 M3. First one was this morning on the way to work by a guy in a VW. He was following me real close down the highway and when I moved over to get to the offramp he beeped, I looked over and he gave the .

This evening coming home a dude on a bike was coming up the onramp to the highway accelerating pretty good. I was in traffic. Not lots of traffic, but enough to slow down to about 10 under the limit. So, he's charging up the onramp then suddenly slows when he gets abeam of me. I look over and there it was again: .

Anyway, thanks for reading. I just had to write it up. Now if we could just all educate the hot girls about the M3 ...

Yeah, It breaks my heart every time a girl/lady calls my M a 3 series (well only happened once or twice so far).

That says something. I just sold my 350Z that (along with mods including a NISMO spoiler, aluminum grill and Work wheels) got looks for more obvious reasons. A 'thumbs up' for an M3 is likely a pretty educated endorsement due to the cars balance between subtlety and aggressiveness.

I love the thumbs up.......... Having a Challenger here in Germany, I have had folks hang out their windows to get pics, film, and give thumbs up. Odd situation ....I was in a Stau (traffic jam) on the autobahn and some dude filmed me for about 10 minutes straight!!!!

To you and I and everybody else on this forum there is a difference between an M3 and a regular 3 Series. But the reality is that the M3 is a 3 Series that has been processed by the M division. For the same reasons, the M5 is also a 5 Series processed by the M division.

Some of us hot girls already know about the M3 but yes I agree as most of my friends think it's just a 3 series. I agree about the thumbs up though, last week it happened twice on the expressway and twice I was approached last week as well in the parking lot by guys who couldn't believe how sweet the car is. The car just seems to have it's own charisma.

Funny I just saw this thread. im driv home last night (well this morning) around 4am, and theres 5 girls in an infiniti. So Im stopped at the light, these girls pull up to me and the passenger goes "u have a sick car, itsabsolutely beautiful" im like thank you, didnt even pay them any mind, seen they were kinda drunk, the driver was hot btw lol. So the light turns green and I pull off, they catch up, nd she goes "OMG I just came" lmfaoooooooo.....

Such a lady hahahhahahahhahahahah... At that point I just burst into laughter... And pulled off on my merry way lol
