Technic or dds02400,

You guys got any before shots? It would be nice to see the before and after effect of the springs from the same angle. Thanks!

It all looks great!

Technic, are you running any spacers on your new set-up? I'm guessing you used the 10mm rear ones from your old set-up. How does it feel with the square set vs staggered? Are you also running 275/30-19 tires in the front and rear? I still can't get over the CSL wheels and I'm leaning that way - OEM CSL rears all the way around.

Thanks... rear spacers are now 15mm because there is a 5mm reduction in offset with the OEM ZHP rears vs. the VMR CSL rear replicas (27mm vs. 22mm). There are no spacers in the front; 245/35 front tires.

I don't feel anything different with this setup so far, still the same sharp steering and handling. Perhaps if I change the front tires to 275/30 as the rears then I would notice a difference... but so far, none.

Looking good guys. I had the Eibach Pro-Kit on my old M3 and it was a perfect drop, IMHO.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I didn't see the need to start a new one...

Are you guys still happy with the Eibachs? Any negative changes in ride quality or handling after some time with them on?

Thanks for the update. Just placed my order. Now to decide on the spacers (OEM 19's).

Please let me know when your springs are on. I would love to see what it looks like on your car. I think springs are in my future ;-)
Who do you plan to use to install them?

Thanks!

I have a quote from group2, and will call a few other places, too. I'll let you know where I end up. I got rogue spacers, 15 front and rear.

Any update on this? Did you get the springs installed?

BTW, I tried my 15mm spacers in the rear and I had some rubbing with the stock suspension. I am going to go 15mm front and 12mm rear when I get around to getting my track wheels off.

Hmmm, I thought I'd be OK with 15s and the Eibachs since I won't have as aggressive of a drop as people with RD Sports/H&Rs, and 15's are pretty popular in the rear. Maybe what I'll do is have them put the 15's on the rear, and if it looks tight, have them hold off on the spacers altogether while I swap the unopened set for 12s. Was the rubbing present with your track wheels or stock, and what's the width difference?

I'm hoping to get them installed next week, but I have to find a day to get it done. It's been a busy 2 weeks for me.

The rubbing is occurring with the stock 18" wheels. I believe that the offset is the same for the 18" and 19" so I would anticipate some rubbing with the 19" as well, unless you run narrower tires.

Although there does seem to be people running 15mm spacers in the rear around here, I would be careful. You may try to put them on and drive around a bit. The slight rubbing that I got did not cause any damage to the car, but it was noticeable on the outter edge of the tires.

Let me know how it goes.
