New M3 Owner - 2009 AW E90 content
Hey guys, just got my new (to me) m3 yesterday, and was able to install one part and take some pics. The last one is my favorite, a battle between the two cars I was choosing between
LOVE MY M so far. Next mods are painted reflectors, bmc filter and some brand of catted x pipe. |

Congrats buddy!!!! You probably won't miss your former VT1-455 E46 M3 anymore....
Often times, I wish I chose a 6MT over our DCT, simply for fun factor. Looking forward to your future modifications!

Thanks fellas!
Quick update I have ordered the fabspeed power package and also an aa green filter for performance. I have messed with my suspension on a lot of my prior cars and always regretted doing so since it usually comprimises the ride and performance of the car, so im likely going to keep it stock. My next mod will be a high quality tint. Currently I am researching what my best options are. |

Suspension mods can be rather tricky. In the end, it's all about getting the proper settings and tuning to your specific driving needs. It took me awhile to get it right on my E46 M3 and I can now say that it is far more comfortable than stock and clearly performs better. People can get the craziest JRZs or Motons, but if it's not set up properly, you won't be experiencing the benefits. On another note, I love how the E90 handles stock. On the track, it's actually rather enjoyable. I just wish the car didn't weigh so much. I'm looking forward to hearing your experience with your new mods. Any plans for before/after dynos or performance tests?

I do think that I will do a before and after dyno, but depends on the logistics. I would like to see real world what the difference is. Though my baseline will likely have at least an AA filter lol. As far as the e9x suspesion goes, you are definitely right, the m3 does feel fat compared to my old e46. The car turns in better and definitely handles better, but just feels different doing it. The ride compliance is certainly better on the e9x. I could handle a tighter feel with less bodyroll, but I am hesitant to change anything because no matter how many posts about dinan or kw or eibach kits i read that say the car "rides the same as stock" I am really hesitant to believe it.... How is your e46 running these days? |

Went to Baton Rouge this weekend to watch my LSU tigers play Florida, and my best buddy went with me and brought his 2011 gt500. These pics pretty much suck, but I snapped some pics of both cars while hungover the morning after the game
His car is ungodly fast with just a tune, upgraded heat exchanger and pulley |
